Contracts, shareholder deals, leases, staff issues and disputes for founders and owner-managed companies. You approve one page with the scope and a fixed price before we start, and a partner runs the matter from there.
Before any work
One page. Scope, fixed fee, timing.
You sign it, or nothing starts.
01 — Practice
Pick the line that sounds like your week. If none of them fit, tell us anyway: we'll say plainly whether we're the right firm.
You're bringing in an investor, dividing shares with a co-founder, or about to sign a supplier contract you don't fully trust.
You've found premises, and the landlord's attorney has sent a long draft lease with a deadline attached.
Someone needs a contract, a policy needs rewriting, or a hard conversation has to be handled by the book.
An invoice is unpaid, a deal has gone wrong, or a letter arrived that you'd rather not answer alone.
02 — Why owners choose a small firm
Most legal bills hurt because nobody said the number out loud. We say it first, on one page, in writing. Then a partner does the work, explains it in plain English, and tells you before anything moves the price.
03 — How it works
Use the form or call. A partner reads it and answers by the next business day, even when the honest answer is that you don't need a lawyer.
On Rittenhouse Square or over the phone. You leave knowing your options and roughly what each one involves.
We write down what we'll do, what it costs and when it will be finished. Nothing starts until you've signed that page.
The partner you met runs the matter to the end. When it closes, you get a short note: what was done, what to keep, what to watch.
04 — Fees
If the work grows, you hear about it before the cost does. Nothing extra is billed without your written yes.

05 — The firm
We advise founders, owner-managers and growing companies across Philadelphia. Staying small means the person who meets you is the person who does the work, and you can always reach them.

06 — Notes
Written for people who run companies, not for other lawyers. Demo titles; the full site publishes the articles.
07 — Questions
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.
The first meeting costs nothing. Afterwards we send a fixed fee in writing for the work we discussed, and you decide whether to go ahead.
Yes. The partner you meet stays responsible from the first letter to the close-out note, and you have their direct number.
We explain what changed and what it would cost before doing any extra work. Nothing is added without your agreement in writing.
No. Plenty of clients like a meeting on Rittenhouse Square, but a phone call works just as well for the first conversation.
You'll have a written reply by the end of the next business day. Urgent matters: call, and say it's urgent.
We run a conflict check before we meet. If we can't act for you, we tell you straight away so you lose no time.
No. This is a demonstration site built by leavsy.com to show what a law firm's website can look like. The firm, its contact details and the sample fee letter are placeholders; the photos are stock images.
A partner replies by the next business day.
08 — Contact
Say what's going on in your own words. A partner reads every message and writes back by the end of the next business day.
